Hypersonic Dream Team: Robert Dunn Leads the Charge for Additive Industrialization

We are excited to welcome Robert Dunn to ADDMAN as Senior Director of Business Development. Rob brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise in the field of hypersonics and franchise program capture. He will play a pivotal role in driving our business strategy and growth initiatives in these critical areas for ADDMAN and specifically our Castheon venture.

With his successful track record as a Strategy and Business Development Executive at General Dynamics Mission Systems, Rob has shown his ability to develop effective hypersonic business area strategies and outreach plans. He has also managed new business and R&D budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Rob’s extensive military background as a retired Navy Captain submarine officer with 25 years of active-duty experience, including Command of USS HARTFORD, assignments of increasing responsibility on SSBNs, SSNs and SSGNs, and multiple major headquarters’ staff tours, including USSTRATCOM, COMSUBPAC, and OSD Strategic Warfare, provides him with a unique perspective on the needs and challenges of the defense industry.

In his previous role as Deputy Director of the Office of the Secretary of Defense’s Hypersonics program area, Rob led the development and flight-testing program for the Army/Navy common hypersonic missile. This experience will be invaluable as he leads our Hypersonics and franchise program capture initiatives.

Rob’s expertise and leadership will be critical in helping Castheon increase the utilization of our groundbreaking application of 3D printed niobium C103. This material has the potential to strengthen the American defense industrial base and equip the modern warfighter with the tools to gain momentum in the global Hypersonic sprint.

With Rob at the helm of our Hypersonics and franchise program capture initiatives, we are confident in our ability to drive growth for Castheon and achieve our goals of delivering cutting-edge solutions to the defense industry. We are excited to have him on board and look forward to the success that lies ahead.
