EOS, a global leader in additive manufacturing (AM), has reached a significant milestone with the installation of its 5,000th industrial 3D printer. The landmark machine, an EOS M 400-4, was installed at Keselowski Advanced Manufacturing (KAM) in Statesville, North Carolina. KAM, recently acquired by ADDMAN, now operates 18 EOS machines, contributing to ADDMAN’s combined total of 36 polymer and metal systems.
The achievement underscores EOS’s role in advancing AM technology and KAM’s leadership in metal 3D printing for industries like defense, aerospace, and medical. Marie Langer, CEO of EOS, praised the company’s innovative spirit, while Joe Calmese, CEO of ADDMAN, highlighted the critical role of EOS machines in producing complex, high-performance applications.
This milestone reflects both companies’ shared vision for a sustainable and innovative future in digital manufacturing.
