Fused Deposition Modeling

Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) technology is widely recognized speed, accuracy, and competitive cost. FDM machines precisely extrude melted material to produce parts and production of  parts can take as little as one day. The technology offered by ADDMAN ranges from desktop printers to large machines with industry-leading build envelopes.

Material and color selection for FDM is almost endless with a wide variety of polymers, reinforced polymer composites, and high-temperature engineering thermoplastics.

  • ABS & ABS-Carbon Fiber (ABS-CF)
  • Polycarbonate (PC), PC-Glass Filled (PC-GF)
  • Nylon 12, Nylon-Glass Filled
  • ASA
  • TPU
  • Ultem 9085
  • Ultem 1010
  • PEEK/PEK
  • PETG

Selective Laser Sintering & Multi Jet Fusion

In both SLS and MJF, polymer powders are sintered into solid structures using a high-power laser, allowing for free-floating features without support material. With this, moving assemblies, complex internal geometries, and thin-walled features can be created. The processes are ideal for prototyping, low-volume production, and strong, air-tight, repeatable parts throughout the production lifecycle.

SLS and MJF materials provide production quality polymer parts. Carbon fibers or glass fibers are often added to these polymers to increase strength and durability.

  • Nylon 12 PA
  • Nylon 12 – Carbon Filled (CF)
  • Nylon 12 – Glass Filled (GF)
  • Nylon 12 – High Strength and temp (HST)
  • Nylon 12 – Aluminum Filled (AF)
  • Nylon 11
  • Nylon 11 FR
  • Polypropylene
  • TPU
  • And many more

Stereolithography & Digital Light Processing

SLA and DLP are the perfect technologies for crystal clear clarity and smooth surfaces. Light-activated resin is cured with photopolymers and UV light. ADDMAN owns a full line of SLA printers ranging from small to large formats utilizing these materials:

  • Tough 2000 (ABS-like)
  • High Temperature
  • Rigid 10k
  • Rigid 4000
  • ESD Resin
  • Durable (HDPE/PP-like)
  • Flexible 80A
  • Elastic 50A
  • Ceramic Resin
  • And many more

Machining & Post Processing

Some polymers parts may require tighter tolerances or smoother surface finish than the polymer processes can provide. When that’s the case, we offer over 100 traditional subtractive machines, including 5-axis CNC machines and turning stations to be able to provide full solutions.

Painting and Coatings

ADDMAN offers a wide variety of painting and coating surfaces from UV-protection or color matching to your current assembly, Coatings can be used to improve chemical resistance, water tightness, and overall material strength to ensure premium performance. Services include, but are not limited to:

  • Paint
  • Electroplating
  • Color Dying
  • Clear Coat
  • Vacuum Metallization
  • And many more
